The Throat is not a business, company, or commercial entity. It is a private, non-commercial platform dedicated to facilitating the distribution of underground music and art among like-minded individuals. The Throat does not generate profit, does not engage in commercial activities, and is operated on a personal, hobby-based basis.

All contributions made by supporters are voluntary and intended solely to cover material costs (such as blank media, packaging, and postage). Contributions are not payments for goods or services and do not constitute a commercial exchange. There is no financial gain, salary, or taxable income derived from this initiative.

By submitting a request for works through The Throat, you acknowledge that you are contributing to a private and non-profit artistic project, not purchasing items from a business.

Shipping

• All works are shipped worldwide. If your country is not supported in our system please contact us at the e-mail adress below!

• Works are typically dispatched within 3 to 7 business days after a contribution is received and processed, but due to the nature of this platform, delays may occur.

• Many works are hand-dubbed in real time, requiring additional care and time. The Throat is not an online store and does not operate on a commercial schedule.

• No shipments occur one week before, during, or one week after the December holiday season.

• Works are shipped from The Netherlands via PostNL or DPD. Alternative couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) may be used only under private agreements.

• Shipping is at the contributor’s own risk. While efforts are made to protect works, The Throat cannot be held responsible for delivery delays, customs processing, or lost/damaged packages.

Contribution

• Contributions are voluntary and non-refundable. They can be made via PayPal or Bank Transfer (BACS).

• PayPal charges a processing fee depending on your location.

• Contributions must be received within 7 days of placing a request. If no contribution is received within this period, the request will be considered void.

• Contributions do not provide the contributor with ownership rights, financial interest, or claims over The Throat or its works.

Returns / Exchanges

• The Throat does not facilitate returns or exchanges for financial compensation. Contributions are meant to support the platform and are not considered commercial transactions.

• If works are returned to us due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., incorrect address, customs refusal), we will only resend the works if the supporter voluntarily contributes additional shipping costs. If no additional contribution is made within 7 business days, the request will be canceled.

• If works are lost due to postal service error, The Throat may consider providing alternative works, but only after the postal service completes its investigation (which may take up to 5 months).

• The Throat is not responsible for customs fees, import taxes, or additional charges imposed by the recipient’s country.

Exchanges are NOT available for the following reasons:

• The supporter provided an incorrect shipping address.

• The supporter chose unregistered shipping.

• Minor damage to standard packaging (e.g., cracked jewel cases, scuffed norelco cases).

• Artistic elements of the work (e.g., lyrics, sound, design choices).

• High import costs imposed by customs.

Alternative works MAY be supplied under the following circumstances:

• Proven duplication/dubbing errors (proof required via audio sample or video).

We reserve the right to remove a supporter’s information and restrict access if they initiate a PayPal dispute or chargeback, particularly if they selected an unregistered shipping option. An IP block may be implemented in such cases.
