Description
A collaborative exercise in absolute negativity from K. van Hardeveld (Schlemiel), T. Gardenier (Kaufbeuren) and M. Heyman (Šulak).
Across two CDrs, Schlemiel, Kaufbeuren and Šulak drag Pessimist Harsh Noise through the dirt. Recorded in August MMXXIV, these sessions offer no narrative, no release and no attempt at refinement. Just damaged signals, overloaded inputs and long stretches of stubborn, grinding hostility.
The three participants push and pull against one another through walls of distortion, bursts of feedback and low-end pressure that seem determined to outlast the listener. Things build, collapse, disappear and return in different forms. Not a statement of victory, but a record of defeat accepted long before the first sound was made.
The battle was lost in August MMXXIV.
Thirty copies in print.
